Hey... Don't die, okay ?

Wow sorry, Evelgard in himself is a total mess XD ! Face, proportions, legs... *sigh* At least I like Neris face, but this drawing is not something I'm proud of. Too much white, I guess.

Well this is the first time I do it, but it was in my To Draw List : A tender scene between the two cousins ! Yep, this scene is canon...

To sum up, this happens during the Renegade Arc (I mean, the moment when Lex is still an antagonist).
You've probably seen my drawing with Evvie who had a hole in his stomach... It takes place a little after. As Evelgard constantly lost his fights against Lex, Neris had the WONDERFUL idea to fight him too .-.
Why ? For a few reasons...
- Neris is a proud person who wants to prove he's better than Evelgard. However, he always gets beaten and humiliated when they fight... So for Neris, fighting Lex was an occasion to prove his strenght : if he succeeds where his cousin failed, he's better than him !
- Also, Neris is "jealous" of Lex. Well, this is complex but... Yeah, Neris totally hates Evvie. He always try to kill him, but he absolutely wants to be the center of his attention ! Nevertheless, when Evelgard met Lex, he stopped fighting with Neris, as "he had other fishes to fry". Neris was such a weak ennemy for him and he got busy because of Lex...
Neris would never accept that ! So yeah, maybe it's love-hate or something like that, but he can't stand that "Evelgard looks at someone else" xD
Fighting and killing Lex would be a great way to expiate his jealousy !

For those two reasons, Neris decided to fight against Lex, eventhough both Evvie and Dagranis tried to stop him. For Dagranis by the way, it's a kind of "suicidal tendancy" (he thinks that being rejected by Evelgard threw Neris in such a despair that he actually wanted to die...).
Of course, Lex is a thousand times more powerful than Neris. AND if he willingly spared Evelgard during their fights, Lex absolutely DIDN'T CARE about Neris. Indeed, he's such a violent teenager and he's a criminal who kills mercilessly with no reason... For Lex, "those kind of people deserve to be eliminated".
So he had no remorses to wound him, and... at the end, he threw him from a building !

After that, Neris was in coma for days, between life and death... And Evvie got really worried ;_;
For his part, he's torn in two... Evelgard has love-hatred feelings towards Neris. Of course he hates him because of what he did and his obsession in killing him but... he remains his cousin and even if he doesn't seem to care, he loves him a lot. So, when Neris woke up, Evelgard was here ♥
And Neris, in a short weakness moment, accepted his presence as Evelgard saved his life and everything.
Yep, this is the beginning of an evolution in their relationship ! Even if Lex made them a lot of wrongs, he's the turning point and will make Neris and Evelgard become closer. Indeed he's their common ennemy, so they are forced to ally as they hate him more xD

Well I guess it was all... Even if the drawing is not so good, I hope you like its cuteness <3 !
